Recently judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted, we are looking for inspirational and highly motivated teachers who are passionate about improving outcomes for children of all abilities, so that all children achieve to their highest potential.  A TLR 2 is available for high-calibre candidates and recruitment incentives will also be considered, to secure the best teachers for our team.  NQTs are welcome to apply.

We ensure excellent and tailored ongoing support for all teachers, for example, through mentoring, team-teaching, paired observations, discussion and feedback sessions, high quality and comprehensive continuing professional development and training with external consultants.  

We are also committed to supporting our staff in their individual career development choices and provide opportunities for our future leaders to use and develop their leadership and management skills, for example, through subject leadership and project management of school improvement areas.

King’s Oak Primary School is situated in the Royal Borough of Kingston-Upon-Thames.  Our school is a vibrant, culturally and socially diverse community school for 3 – 11 year old pupils with an ASD specialist resourced provision and an attached pre-school.  We currently have 534 pupils on roll and are expanding to three-form entry.

We offer happy and enthusiastic children who love learning, excellent parental support and a strong staff team who enjoy working together.  Our current team is motivated, hard-working and dedicated to the full and equitable inclusion of all children. 

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification and will be subject to pre-employment checks including a health check, an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
