The children have been learning how to make their writing even better by unlevelling it. They carefully observed a piece of written work, noticed if there were any errors and then collaboratively worked to correct them. They corrected missing capital letters, a full stop, the spelling of come and said, and a missing question mark. Once they had worked as a group, the children went away to look at their own independent writing and then used a green pen to uplevel it. It was a very successful task, and they enjoyed being detectives, noticing the missing details.
