This week we have been learning about Diwali in Reception. The children learnt that it is a festival of light and they enjoyed making paper lanterns and salt dough diva lamps to celebrate this. We also made the most of the rainy weather this week by experimenting with the chalk on the wet playground. The children enjoyed using the chalk to make colourful rangoli patterns that they had learnt about when discussing Diwali.
