Year 3

Construction time!

After a relaxing week off, the children in Year 3 continued building their Stone Age houses. This week we focussed on creating the internal framing of our house using a range of skills. We began by sawing sticks to make the poles and cutting out cardboard to create the base. Next, we rolled out clay and stuck it on the poles. It was important to leave space to make sure we can fit a door. Hopefully when our clay dries next week, we are ready to finish the rest of our Stone Age house and put our hay roof on top.
