Year 6 Parents - Secondary Transfer
A reminder to all our Year 6 families that the deadline for submission of your application for a place at a secondary school is the 31st October 2025 (next Friday!) Please make sure that you have submitted your online application form and made use of all six options. Here is the link to the online form.
Harvest Festival
The week after half-term we will be holding our Harvest Festival celebration and collecting goods for us to donate to Brite Box. Please can you bring in any long life goods such as baked beans, tins of fruit, tins of vegetables, dried pasta, packets of rice etc - anything that has a long shelf-life and can be used by the charity to support needy families. The event will be taking place on Wednesday 5th November - your support with this will be much appreciated.
Eco Refill Shop - King's Oak Refill Rescue
The Year 6 team who are running our Eco Refill Shop are now ready to hold their first sale - the stock has arrived and they are excited for their first opportunity to help save the planet. The first sale is taking place at the end of the school day on Friday 14th November under the canopy in the KS2 playground. On sale will be hand soap, washing up liquid, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The products will be individually priced and ideally you should bring an empty 500ml bottle to purchase your product in. We hope to collect a stock of used plastic 500ml bottles that we can use for any customers that don't bring an empty bottle with them - if you have any that you can donate, please hand them in to the 6KK classroom. The sales will be taking place monthly - please support the Year 6 team by purchasing some products if you are able to. The marketing team have started to create some posters like the one below - look out for more marketing around the school site.

It has been a long half-term - I hope that everyone gets a well deserved rest over the break. I look forward to seeing you all again on Monday 3rd November for the start of the second half of the Autumn Term. Thank you for your continued support.
