Farm Visit

The children in Early Years had a fantastic experience this week with a visit to the school from Manor Farm. They brought a wide range of animals from ponies to snakes and the children loved getting to meet them and find out about them all. It was also brilliant to get some positive feedback from the Manor Farm staff who were highly complimentary about the behaviour of the King's Oak children - well done everyone!
King's Oak Refill Rescue

Thank you to the parents who supported our Eco Refill Shop this week. It was the first session run by 6HR who are now in the process of taking over the business from 6KK - look out for new marketing material and promotions. Sadly, the sales were limited this week - hopefully we will get more customers next month and be able to add to our growing tally of plastic bottles saved!
Mental Health Support Team

Our two Mental Health Support Team workers, Olivia and Shazia have recently held a pop-up stall in the playground before school to promote their roles and support for our pupils and families. Thank you to everyone who was able to speak to them and collect a leaflet with more details. If you did not get a chance to catch up with them and would like to know more details about the support opportunities available and how to access them - below is a link to the MHST website with details about the types of therapy available and how to access it.
Parent Workshop

Thank you for your continued support - a quick reminder please about the use of play equipment before and after school. Our rules state that children are not allowed to use any of the climbing equipment either before or after school - this is due to the lack of presence of staff members. Over the last few weeks there have been several children using the climbing equipment - please can you ensure that your children are not on the equipment at an inappropriate time.
Have a great weekend.
