Panathlon

As mentioned in the newsletter last week, on Tuesday we were very lucky to be able to offer our pupils an opportunity to participate in a Panathlon - you can see from the pictures above some of the sporting activities that the pupils engaged with. As well as the pupils chosen to participate, a group of children from Year 6 received training from the Panathlon leader as to how to lead and support the pupils in the event. They all did an amazing job and the children taking part in the sporting events were very motivated and positive - some were upset when it was over and they had to leave! You can see some of them proudly wearing their medals!
Year 1 Football Festival

Well done to the team of boys from Year 1 who represented King's Oak this week at the borough football festival. They worked well together as a team and won two out of the three matches played. They also took part in a skills session and one player got a mention in the presentation at the end for his excellent skills. They were all very proud of their medals and had a great time at the festival.

Parking Permits
Please be aware that from the 1st June, parking on Warwick Road, Stafford Road, Lincoln Road and parts of Dickerage Lane will be restricted to resident only permit holders - Monday to Saturday between 8:30 and 18:30. We don't want parents to end up with parking tickets so please check carefully where you are parking and remember the agreement we have with Aldi and Matalan to use their car park for drop off and pick up times. If you need further information about this you can email Kingston Council - streetspace@kingston.gov.uk.
