Staffing for the next academic year
We are now able to share the details of the staffing model for the next academic year.  The children have been told today who their next class teacher is going to be and you can see the structure below.  There is a lot of stability in the model but you will see that due to the falling pupil numbers in the local area, we will only be having one class in Reception and Year 1 next year.  Also, Olivia Miller, the current KS2 Blossom leader will be leaving us at the end of the year and so Debbie Fossey will be taking over as KS2 Blossom leader.

England’s next football match!
For those of you who are supporting England and watching all the World Cup matches, we want to share our plan for the next match which is taking place from 1am on Monday morning! We don’t want the children to be up that late watching the match and then being in school tired, dysregulated and grumpy! So, the strategy we are going to use is that in each phase, for the children who want to watch it, we will be sharing the highlights of the match on Monday morning.  So, the children do not need to stay up late and will still get to see the best bits of the match.  This will support the attendance and well-being of our pupils. Fingers crossed for another victory!

Year 6 SATs Results

Just to let Year 6 parents know about a delay to this year's Key Stage 2 (KS2) test results, which affects all schools nationally.  Schools were due to receive results on 7th July 2026. However, Pearson Education Limited, the provider responsible for administering, marking, and returning Key Stage 2 results to schools has informed the Department for Education of a delay affecting the national system used to make results available to schools. Results will now be available on 16th July 2026.  Importantly, the delay is not related to the quality of the tests or the accuracy of pupils' results. Test papers have been marked in line with usual processes.  This will not impact your child’s transition to secondary school and no action is required from parents or pupils. We will share results with you as quickly as possible after we receive them on 16th July.
