Welcome back!
A very warm welcome to the start of the new academic year, it has been wonderful to welcome back all the children and also meet our new families who have joined us this week. The children have started the new term very positively and have shared with me lots of exciting stories about their summer holiday adventures.
PSA Fair
Due to the extreme heat towards the end of last term, unfortunately, we had to postpone the PSA Summer Fair. However, it now means that we have got something exciting to look forward to next Friday after school! I hope that you will all be able to attend to support the PSA and help raise funds for their amazing contributions to our school.
Parent Workshops
Playful Parenting for parents and carers of children under 5 years - 2 consecutive sessions being held on Thursday mornings in New Malden - limited creche places available - starting on 1st October
Triple P Seminars for parents and carers of children 0-12 years: Four separate sessions on the following topics: The Power of Positive Parenting, Raising Confident, Capable Children, Raising Resilient Children, and Helping Children Develop Healthy Screen Habits. These are being held on Tuesday mornings in Chessington - limited creche places available - starting on 29th September
The Parenting Puzzle/The Nurturing Programme for parents of children up to 12 years of age being held on Wednesday mornings in Tolworth for 10 weeks starting on 30th September - limited creche places available
123 Magic for parents and carers of children up to 7 years of age, a behaviour management course/ADHD, being held on Thursday mornings in New Malden for 5 weeks starting on 5th November - limited creche places available
Triple P Teen for parents and carers of children up to 16 years of age with mild to moderate challenging behaviour: Held on 2 consecutive Saturdays in New Malden starting on 24th October

Class Assemblies
Each year, each class put on an assembly for their families to come and watch to share in their learning and see their talents and enjoyment with the curriculum. Please see the dates and times below for the assembly performances throughout the school year.
TESCO Extra - New Malden
If any of you do any shopping in Tesco Extra in New Malden, please can you support our PSA by ensuring that you collect the tokens from the tills and put them into the King's Oak token box. This will hopefully mean that our PSA gets some additional funding that they are going to use to create some more growing beds in the school grounds for the children to have more opportunities to learn about growing food! The King's Oak box is the one on the far right and will be in place until the end of November.
