ADHD Embrace DonationsADHD Embrace

A massive thank you to everyone for supporting our non-uniform day to raise funds for ADHD Embrace.  I am very proud to be able to let you know that we have made over £500 for them which I know will be very much appreciated.  As well as raising funds for the great charity, the children all looked fantastic in their chosen clothes and it helped to make a positive end to the half-term!

Flu Immunisation

As you know, the NHS were on site this week delivering the flu immunisations to children who had been given permission.  If for some reason you missed the communications about the immunisations but you would still like your child to be able to benefit from this, there is a link below to book a slot at one of the community clinics.  If we can get as many children protected as possible, it will help keep the whole community as healthy as we can!

Fire DrillFire Alarm Sign, Rigid, 15x20cm

Your child might have told you this week about the school fire alarm going off! Just to reassure you that this was our planned Autumn Term fire drill so that the children are all aware of the noise that the fire alarm makes and where they need to assemble for all the registers to be taken.  It was a highly successful test and all the children did an excellent job at being calm and sensible.

School Photographs Cut Off Date

As mentioned in the newsletter last week, the school photographs are now ready to order.  Just a reminder and to let you know that the cut-off date to order photographs with free delivery back to the school is Tuesday 27th October at midnight!  If you need any assistance with placing an order you can contact the Van Cols customer service team on 01206 273711 or aftersales@vancols.com.

Half-Term

It has been a busy but successful first half-term of the new academic year.  Thank you for your support and I hope that you all have a fabulous half-term break from school.  I look forward to seeing you all on Monday 2nd November for the start of the second half of the Autumn Term!
