The children in Year 2 have thoroughly enjoyed immersing themselves in the new text this week. They all created new pirate names, sang songs and came up with movements for their pirates. They also described their pirates using expanded noun phrases, adverbs and verbs. 

In Golden Time, Mrs Pintor worked with some of the children across the Key Stage to create artwork in the style of Alma Thomas.

In addition, we have continued practising our singing for the Rose Theatre. The tickets are now on sale through the Rose Theatre website. Please check and if you cannot find the info, let one of us know. 

Our country dances are coming along nicely. We perform those in Kingsmeadow on 9th July 2025.
