This week, we had so much fun exploring the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children loved hearing about Goldilocks sneaking into the bears' house and talking about whether or not Goldilocks did the right thing. We linked the story to learning about sizes - talking about large, medium and small as we had fun finding things of different sizes around our nursery classroom. 

We also had to try some porridge ourselves! We added different toppings like golden syrup and fruit. Everyone had their own idea of what was “just right”. Thank you again to Nursery parents for your donations. The children enjoy the real life experience and it helps them to remember key vocabulary from our stories.

We’ve also been getting creative with our Eid ul-Adha crafts. The children made some lovely pieces and really enjoyed talking about the celebration. It was a great chance to learn about different traditions and share in the joy of the holiday.
