This week in science, we have been investigating what liquids cause decay in our teeth. To carry out this investigation, we filled 5 containers with different liquids which included: water, milk, vinegar, orange juice and cola. We then placed an egg in each container of the liquid and observed what happened to them over the course of three days. We used eggs as the shells have a similar composition to the enamel in our teeth.
