We had great fun working together to produce a class picture. We used cars dipped into paint to develop our gross motor skills by rolling the cars backwards and forwards across the paper. The children were talking to each other while painting. We also discussed the colours we were using: red, blue and yellow and the children painted their hands to add to their picture. 

Outside, the children and teacher were busy building dens together. We used the dens to share stories, sing songs and play musical instruments. 

Next week we will be reading We're Going On a Bear Hunt, a story about a family who decide to look for a bear and face a series of obstacles along the way.
