Pre School

Role-play
We have been enjoying the sunny weather outside by setting up a dolly and clothing wash station. We also added a washing line to dry the clothes. The children were very engaged in this role-play experience. We learnt about hygiene, care and the concept of dirty and clean.
We also learnt about different parts of the body. We brought counting into the equation by counting the items of clothing as we hung them up on to the washing line.
Next week we will be reading One Mole Digging a Hole written by Julia Donaldson and Nick Sharratt. This will enable the children to practise their counting while using rhyming words.
