The children in Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed their sports morning on Wednesday. Everybody tried their best and worked well as part of their team.  Thank you for your support, they enjoyed having you all there to cheer them on.

In English, we began writing up instructions on how to cook vegetable kebabs. In Guided Reading, we are continuing our Jolly Roger text. 

In maths, we have been experimenting with 2D shape and lollipop sticks, and in history, the children have been learning about Kingston and its links to aviation history. This week they have been finding out about how many aircraft were designed and built in the borough. 

Next week, we will be continuing to practise our country dancing dances, and we will begin our new geography topic on the local area. In the next couple of weeks, we will have two local trips to the two local playgrounds. Perhaps you can help support us on these. Let one of us know if you can help.
