We have recently finished a piece of writing inspired by the Hunger Games. Influenced by the charismatic talk show host, Caesar Flickerman, we imagined an interview between him and a Tribute from the Games. It was the perfect opportunity to show off our use of speech punctuation and to use dialogue to show character and move the action on. Next, we will be creating our own genetically modified creatures inspired by the Capital's mutations from the book; such as Tracker Jackers and Jabberjays. We will then write about how they will serve the Capital's purposes and which animal's DNA was used to create them.
