We had a fantastic time at our Sports Day! Thank you so much to all the parents and carers who came along — it was lovely to see you there. The children had a great time enjoying their picnic with you and their favourite teddies. They were especially proud and excited to receive their certificates!

This week, we’ve been reading the book Supertato. The children have really enjoyed the story, especially the part where the Evil Pea caused double the bubbles during our fun sensory activity! It was a wonderful way to bring the story to life. 

As part of the fun, we explored a range of vegetables such as aubergine and broccoli, and talked about their shapes, textures, and colours. We also introduced new vocabulary, such as “thrilled”, which the children loved using to describe how characters in the story felt and how they felt too during our activities!
