Year 2

Last week of term
We had a busy, hot and fun last week of term. The children tried the KS2 playground and had fun on the equipment, seeing siblings and playing with other children in KS2.
We learnt about position and direction in maths.
We wrote a letter to an agony aunt in English, to tell her all about George's wicked grandma. We were hoping she might write back with ideas to help us.
We tried to play team games, but it got rained off by the torrential downpour.
The children got to watch the Year 6 production, which they loved.
Finally, today, all the children had a class party with crisps, cake and polish pretzels. Gifts were given and emotional farewells were had.
Thank you for all your generous gifts. Your time and support this year has been amazing. Your children have been an asset to you all, and we have thoroughly enjoyed teaching them.
Have a lovely summer break, and we will look forward to seeing you in the playground or passing by, next term.
Thank you
