The children have had a busy week. 

In maths, they have been learning about showing two-digit numbers in different ways. Part, part whole models, bar charts, diennes, and tens frames. 

If you fancy challenging your child. Give them a two digit number and ask them to show how many 10s and 1s are in it. 

In computing, the children have been learning about the parts of a computer and creating a robot that could make/do anything for them. They had to design its inputs and outputs. 

In science, the children have been testing materials. First they experimented with which materials could be bent, stretched, squashed and twisted. Then they were investigating what materials were absorbant and which materials were waterproof. To conclude, they had to decide what material would be the most suitable to make a raincoat from.
