This week in maths we have been bridging through 10. To do this, we made sure that we could make 10 by partitioning the second number and adding it to the first number. This made it easy for us as making 10 is something we have practised lots. We then added on the remaining amount, which meant we could get to the answer easily. We did this practically first by using 10s frames and then writing out the calculation.
