As part of our history learning for Black History Month, Year 1 have been finding out about the life and achievements of Mary Seacole. We started by thinking of important historical questions about her life. We then watched a video and a presentation to help us find the answers to some of these questions. Hopefully we will be able to answer any questions you might have at home about her and why she is still remembered today.
