In maths, Yr2 have been learning to add and subtract a single digit number from a two-digit number. They have also been learning how to explain patterns when adding and subtracting 10. 

In English, we focussed on a text called 'The Shopping Basket' as part of anti-bullying week. The children enjoyed sequencing the story, describing the animals using adverbs and adjectives, and practising their knowledge of conjunctions when writing sentences. 

In history, we looked at important aviators in history and discovered more about their aviation achievements. 

Next Thursday 20th November 2025, is our year group trip to the Science Museum. Please make sure you have given permission for this trip. It is free and the children have a fantastic time. If you have volunteered your time on the Thursday, please come on Wednesday morning (during reading morning) and we will talk you through the risk assessment. We will be leaving school approx 9:15am on Thurs 20th.
