In maths this week the children have been learning about how to find one more and one less than a given number. They used different equipment such as a Tens Frame and cubes to support and check their answers. 

Then, the children took turns to make up a story involving one more or one less. For example, there were five crocodiles in a river and one more jumped in. How many are there now?
