Year 1

Anti Bullying Week - Thinking about how we can use our own powers for good.

Year 1 have very much enjoyed our learning in anti-bullying week. We have read the story of Willy the Wimp, in which the main character learns how to stand up to bullies. We have also created our own special odd socks, to celebrate the fact that all of us are unique. We have discussed what bullying is, the different forms it can take and what we can do to stop it if we can see it happening. Finally we have enjoyed creating our own personal super-heroes and thinking about how we can use our own powers for good. Just a quick reminder that, on Monday morning, there is an Occupational Therapy coffee morning at school, 9am-10am, for all parents who are interested and able to attend. Have a lovely weekend!
