This week we have been learning all about India as part of our study on the Chappati moon. We have been celebrating some of the sounds, food and culture, we looked at traditional clothes and jewellery. For food, we had spices that we ground with a pestle and mortar and we mixed them into our playdough. The children really enjoyed pretending we had flown to India and using their passports to visit the country.

In maths we have been looking at 1-1 correspondence and counting up to 5. We have been using our hands to check we have 5 of things. 

Next week we will be continuing our practise for our Christmas performance. Please check your children's book bags for information about their role in the performance.
