This week the children helped to decorate the Christmas tree. Together they placed tinsel, baubles and decorations onto our tree. We also made paper chains by cutting strips of paper and glueing them together. In our creative area, we made a start making Christmas cards for our loved ones. We had our first rehearsal in the school hall for our Christmas performance. We are so proud of how well the children did and how good they were at standing on the stage and joining in with the actions and singing. 

We really enjoyed listening to our story this week, Hide and Seek Pig. This inspired us to learn how to play a game of hide and seek. We had great fun trying to find our friends in good hiding places. While playing, the children were learning to count to ten and taking turns to hide or seek. 

Outside, we have been busy playing in the tents and tunnels, ball games, building sand castles and learning how to play hop scotch.
