This week in Year 3 we have been learning about rocks and fossils. We explored how fossils are formed over millions of years. To help us understand the process, we made our own fossils using salt dough. The children pressed small objects into the dough to create “imprints,” just like real palaeontologists study. It was a fun, hands-on way to see how fossils record clues about the past!
