It was lovely to see parents and carers attend our Christmas performances alongside Year 5. The children have worked extremely hard to learn their lines and lyrics and had so much fun. 

On Wednesday, we had a truly magical festive day with Christmas lunch at school. 

Over the festive break, we are not sending home any paper homework as we feel that it is important for the children to spend time with their friends, family and carers. However, we are still asking for three comments and one signature in the reading record and 1000 mathletics points. 

After the break we will be: 

• Starting a new novel, ‘Breaker’ in English, 
• Focusing on inference questions in guided reading, 
• Starting a new topic of Living things and their habitats in science, 
• Exploring how and when to safely use AI.
