Lot's of exciting things happened this week in Reception. The children were thrilled with their paper hats and special lunch on Wednesday and had a really fun time with the music and it all feeling a bit special. 

They are really looking forward to their party on Friday and thank you again for those of you that were able to donate items to make it possible. They've been making paper decorations like paper chains and hats ready for the party all week!

We have been doing our learning too and this week in phonics we have looked at "l" and "k". The children have really been making tremendous progress, well done everyone. 

In maths we have been going over patterns and shape and challenging the children to describe their pattern or shape. They have really enjoyed working out some of the missing parts of our patterns!
