Nursery

Welcome to our weekly nursery newsletter!

This week we were very excited to welcome our new children to the nursery. They have settled in beautifully and enjoyed exploring their new environment, both indoors and outdoors. It has been wonderful to see them gaining confidence, making new friends, and discovering new areas to play and learn.

As part of our personal, social, and emotional development, we have been learning about the book Pantosaurus. Through this story, the children learnt that their bodies belong to them and that no one should see or touch their private areas. We talked about the importance of saying “NO” if something makes them feel uncomfortable and telling a trusted adult if anyone asks or touches their private parts.

We also enjoyed reading Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear? The children had lots of fun making different animal noises and talking about the colours and sizes of the animals in the story. This led to discussions about zoos and the important role of zookeepers in caring for animals.

It has been a busy and enjoyable week filled with learning, laughter and exploration.
