This week, the children have been very busy and imaginative! They have been pretending to be aeroplanes, inspired by Peace at Last and Baby Bear’s journey. They loved zooming around and using their bodies like aeroplanes, helping to develop their imagination and gross motor skills.

The children also enjoyed drawing and mark making using large movements. They chose to create numbers, Mr Bear, lots of different shapes, and a variety of creative marks on the paper. This helped to strengthen their hand and arm muscles while supporting early writing skills.

This week we have been learning about the number 3. The children practised forming number 3 in the air and played lots of fun games to help them find and recognise the number of the week.

You can practise at home with your child by showing them how we form number 3 and encouraging them to spot it in their environment.
