In maths, we have been learning about halving, doubling and the 2 times table, using these skills to help solve problems.

In English, we have started our exciting new book, The Tear Thief, and have been exploring characters and story ideas. They enjoyed acting out parts of the story before creating a story map.

In science, the children have been learning about the rainforest habitats, discovering the plants, animals and their habitats. 

In geography, we have been comparing the climates of the UK and Peru, discussing how weather and environments can be different or the same.

In maths, we will be moving on to grouping and division.

In DT, we will begin creating mock-up designs to make vehicles for the Tear Thief to transport the tears around. To support this learning, we would greatly appreciate any empty cardboard boxes you are able to donate.
