English:

This week, the children have been focusing on description writing. They have been exploring the story The Tear Thief and using their ideas to describe the character using  adjectives, adverbs, and exciting verbs to bring their writing to life.

Maths:

In maths, the children have been introduced to division. They are learning how it connects to multiplication and practising sharing and grouping objects to understand the relationship between the two operations.

Design & Technology (DT):

Today in DT, the children explored how an axle works and created mock-up vehicles to test their ideas. This is in preparation for building their final vehicle models next week, thinking carefully about design, structure, and movement.
