In maths this week, Year 3 have been learning all about polygons and right angles. We explored the different properties of polygons, including the number of sides and vertices and practised identifying right angles in a variety of shapes. To make our learning hands-on and fun, we used strips and split pins to build our own polygons, creating shapes such as pentagons and hexagons. We even moved them around to make regular and irregular shapes.  It was a fantastic way to investigate how shapes can change while still keeping their key properties!
