This week, after our half-term break, Year 1 have started a new class book, Vlad and the Great Fire of London. As the title suggests, this book links closely with our history topic. In our English lessons, we have started by thinking about the characters' thoughts and feelings at different points in this dramatic story. A few reminders for next week - firstly, please ensure that you have booked an appointment for parent consultations on either Tuesday or Thursday. Secondly, Wednesday is World Book Day. And finally, 1FS parents are very welcome to our class assembly at 9am on Thursday in the main hall. We are looking forward to an exciting week!
