This week we celebrated World Book Day to promote the enjoyment of books and reading. Over the course of the week, we have been reading a variety of different books and the children in particular liked a story called Animal Boogie. We brought the book to life by adding music to the story and the children were able to dance and move like their favourite characters from the story, which invited all the children to join in and have fun reading. Afterwards, the children had the opportunity to make animal masks of characters from the story. 

Next week we will be reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This book is about a very hungry caterpillar who eats his way through a week of various foods.
