Year 2 have had a wonderfully busy and exciting week!

In English, the children continued exploring the story Jack and the Beanstalk. 

In maths, we have been learning all about 3D shapes and symmetry.

During Art, the class explored and experimented with sketching using charcoal. The children really enjoyed trying out this new medium and were impressed. Many commented that their pictures looked even better than their previous pencil drawings!

We also had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day. It was a fun-filled day packed with creative activities. The children made origami planes, enjoyed arts and crafts by creating space-themed artwork and even planted carrot seeds.
