As part of our school's World Book Day celebrations, our pupils learnt about the life and achievements of the author and illustrator, Beatrix Potter. Her story is an inspirational one of a girl who followed her childhood dreams to create amazing animal characters and the stories to go with them. We discussed which of her characters we like the most (Peter Rabbit was popular!) and why her characters are still so well-known today.
