This week in nursery the children have been very busy and creative. With Mother’s Day approaching, the children enjoyed making special cards for their mummies. Some children also chose to make cards for their nanny or daddy, thinking carefully about the people who are special to them. The children worked hard decorating their cards with colours, drawings and lots of love.

Alongside our creative activities, we also enjoyed a fun maths game focused on subitising. Through this game, the children practised recognising small quantities without counting and began to recognise numbers. They were excited to spot the numbers and quickly say how many they could see. Activities like this help build early maths confidence in a playful way.
