This week we welcomed back our Pre -School children. They all looked very excited to be back and quickly got back into their routines. We also welcomed new children into the setting, it was lovely to meet them all and their families. This week we are introducing the children to the environment and letting them explore both inside and outside. 

Alongside this, the children have been planting cress seeds. The children followed the step-by-step instructions, to help our cress seeds grow. Firstly, we placed cotton wool into water and then added this to our containers. Afterwards, we sprinkled on our cress seeds over the top. We discussed what may happen next and learnt that plants need water and sunlight to grow. We will be observing over the next few days to identify any changes to our seeds. 

Next week we will be reading a story about a trip to the dentist and learning about our teeth.
