This week, we were delighted to welcome both returning and new children to our nursery. It has been a joyful start as the children settled into their environment, showing curiosity and confidence while exploring their surroundings. It has been lovely to see new friendships beginning to form and familiar bonds growing even stronger.

The children have especially enjoyed discovering different areas of the nursery, engaging with a variety of activities, and becoming more comfortable in their new routines. Staff have been supporting them closely, helping everyone feel safe, happy, and included.

We also began exploring the story Handa’s Surprise. The children showed great interest in the story and were excited to learn about the different fruits featured in the book. They had the opportunity to see and talk about some of these fruits, sparking conversations about taste, colour, and shape.

The excitement continues as the children are already looking forward to learning more about Handa and her friend Akeyo. We can’t wait to build on this interest with more activities and discoveries in the coming days.
