Year 2
History of Kingston Aviation
In history, the children learnt about the Sopwith and Hawker aviation school in Kingston and the important role it played during World War 1. They enjoyed discovering how aircraft were designed and used during the war and why Kingston became such an important place for aviation.
In maths, we have been learning about fractions. The children explored halves, quarters and thirds through practical activities and problem-solving.
In English, we are continuing to read and enjoy our class story, Jolly Roger and the Pirates of Abdul the Skinhead.
Have a lovely weekend Year 2
