This term in science, Year 3 have been learning about sun safety and how to protect ourselves from the sun’s harmful UV rays. We explored the importance of wearing a sun hat, sunglasses and sun cream when spending time outdoors to help prevent sun damage. The children learnt how UV rays can affect our skin and eyes and discussed ways to stay safe in sunny weather. As part of our learning, we created colourful and informative posters to share important sun safety messages with others.
