Father's Day

To mark Father's Day, we have been talking about the special people in our lives and reading stories related to this theme. The children enjoyed discussing their families and the people who are important to them. They created footprint keepsakes to take home as a special gift and also explored their creativity through finger painting activities. The children were engaged and proud of the lovely creations they made.

Outside, the children have been exploring the sand area, where they enjoyed using natural materials to make birthday cakes for the teachers. They worked together to gather leaves, sticks, and other resources from around the playground to decorate their creations.

Next week we will be reading Maisy and the Sports Day, to prepare for our class sports day.
