In Year 3, we have been learning French and can now say what pet we have and describe its colour. We have learnt the names of a variety of pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, fish and birds, and have practised using simple sentences such as "J’ai un chien noir" and "J’ai un poisson rouge". The children have enjoyed developing their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. They are becoming increasingly confident in using French vocabulary and sentence patterns to talk about themselves and their pets.
