Year 4

Tick-Tock and Robot Rock!

This week, while roasting in the classroom heat, Year 4 have been busy developing their understanding of time and angles as part of their maths learning. The children worked hard to apply their knowledge through a range of engaging activities and challenges, building confidence in reading time and recognising and measuring different angles.

We also had an exciting opportunity in our robotics learning, where the children began making their robots and testing whether they could move successfully. There was lots of enthusiasm as pupils experimented, problem-solved and worked together to bring their ideas to life. Next week, we will be evaluating our robot designs and reflecting on how well they worked.

Looking ahead to English, we will be beginning our final story based on Orpheus and Eurydice. We are excited to explore this fascinating myth and use it as inspiration for our reading and writing activities.
