Year 5

Practise, practise, practise!
This week, Year 5 have been enthusiastically preparing for Sports Day, which will take place on Wednesday 8th July from 9:00am to 10:30am. During PE lessons, the children have been developing their athletic skills across a range of track and field events. On the track, they have practised sprinting, refined their baton handover technique for the relay races, and challenged themselves with skipping and hurdles. In the field events, the focus has been on improving throwing accuracy, developing balance through a variety of activities, and increasing speed and agility. It has been wonderful to see the children showing determination, teamwork and resilience as they encourage one another and strive to improve their personal bests. We are looking forward to seeing everyone put their hard work into action on Sports Day and wish all of our Year 5 athletes the very best of luck!
