Fishing games

This week, the children had lots of fun exploring the water tray. Together, we decided to make our own fishing game. We used pipe cleaners to create colourful fish which floated on the water, and then we made our own fishing rods using pipe cleaners as well. The children took turns using their fishing rods to catch the fish and placed them into a container. This activity encouraged turn-taking, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and concentration.

The children have also enjoyed exploring the role-play area, caring for the baby dolls by feeding and looking after them. They have also enjoyed talking and interacting with one another while preparing food to share.

Outside, the children enjoyed playing together with rolling hoops. They practised rolling the hoops to one another and catching them before taking turns to roll them back. They also demonstrated this skill while playing bat and ball together.
