What a wonderful first two days we have had in Reception! It has been such a pleasure welcoming all of our new children into school and seeing them begin to settle into their new surroundings.

Starting school is a very big step, and they have shown such bravery, enthusiasm and resilience. We have seen lots of smiles, curious faces and growing confidence as the children have explored their classroom, met their new friends and begun to get to know the adults around them.

A huge thank you to all our parents and families for your support, patience and understanding during these first few days. We know that the start of school can be an emotional time for everyone, and your encouragement at home makes such a difference. Thank you for trusting us and for helping your children take these first important steps.

Next week will be a particularly exciting milestone as we settle into our first full day at school. We will continue to support the children gently as they adjust to the longer day, ensuring they feel safe, happy and ready to learn.
